Terms of Service
MVP draft terms for using Hoverly. This is not legal advice and may change as the product evolves.
Last updated: June 2026
Acceptance
By accessing or using Hoverly, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep access secure.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Hoverly to:
- Distribute malware, phishing, or deceptive destinations
- Violate applicable laws or third-party rights
- Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls
- Harass, spam, or abuse other users or infrastructure
Short links and destinations
You control the destinations behind your links. Hoverly provides preview, routing, and safety tooling, but you remain responsible for the content you send people to.
Pro features and billing
Paid plans, usage limits, and billing terms will be presented at checkout or in your account when available. Fees, renewals, and refunds follow the plan shown at purchase.
Abuse, unsafe links, and suspension
We may investigate reports, throttle traffic, disable links, or suspend accounts that pose risk to users or the platform. We may act without prior notice when safety requires it.
Intellectual property
Hoverly retains rights in the product, brand, and software. You retain rights in your content. You grant us a limited license to host and display your link assets as needed to operate the service.
Disclaimers
Hoverly is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Preview and safety signals are informational and not a guarantee of destination safety.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hoverly and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months, if any.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes may be communicated in-product or by email where appropriate.
